Our traditional pre-Christmas celebration of the work of our JAI students and postdocs took place on the 19th December 2024 at Royal Holloway, University of London. It brought together the John Adams Institute community, including researchers, students, and collaborators from Imperial College London, the University of Oxford, RHUL and CERN, in-person and online, to reflect on the year’s exciting progress in accelerator science.
The day was packed with engaging presentations showcasing the innovative work of our students and postdocs, covering topics like high-luminosity colliders, novel accelerator technologies, and applications in medicine and industry. The event also provided a fantastic opportunity for lively discussions, knowledge sharing, and brainstorming future projects.
As always, JAI Fest was a wonderful way to round off the year, celebrate the hard work of our community, and look ahead to another year of groundbreaking discoveries. Thanks to everyone who joined and contributed to making it such a memorable day!
