Dr. Robin Timmis

Currently we are preparing for an experiment on the Zeus laser facility at Michigan University in Summer 2025 where we will apply frequency domain holography to measure the spatial profile of a wakefield with orbital angular momentum. In my PhD I studied high power laser solid interactions with a specific focus on production attosecond sources. This culminated in a highly successful experiment on GEMINI PW in 2024 where we observed bright coherent high harmonic generation from attosecond electron bunches, unlocking a pathway towards extreme field physics.
